Product search & filters for WooCommerce

Search that understands your customers — Greek, greeklish, typos.

WebOrange Search replaces the default WooCommerce search with a hosted search engine built for Greek shops. Shoppers type “kreatini”, make a typo or use another word form — and still find the product. Instant results and AJAX filters, with nothing to run on your own server.

Everything shoppers need to find the product

Built for the hard parts of Greek e-commerce search — and tuned on real catalogues.

  • Greeklish ↔ Greek

A shopper types “kreatini” and finds “κρεατίνη”, or a brand in Latin letters and finds its Greek spelling — across titles, categories, brands and descriptions.

  • Word forms

“πρωτεΐνη” also finds “πρωτεΐνης” and “πρωτεΐνες” — real stemming, not lucky prefix matches.

  • Typo tolerance

One or two typos don’t break the search, and a relevance threshold keeps unrelated “near misses” out of the results.

  • Instant results

Products, categories and brands appear as the shopper types. Your theme’s search field is taken over automatically — no template changes.

  • AJAX filters

Category, price range, brand and any attribute — as checkboxes, radio buttons, a dropdown or buttons, with live counts. No page reload, and the address bar follows the filters.

  • Variations and stock

Results show the colour and size combinations that are actually in stock. Optional exact variation search indexes every combination on its own.

  • Searches with no results

See what visitors search for and don’t find — then add a synonym or the missing product. Per-shop synonyms and anonymous search stats (opt-in) included.

  • Hosted — no load on your server

Indexing and search run on our servers. Product changes are queued in the background, so saving a product never waits for the network.

  • Blocks, widgets, page builders

A search block and a filter block for block themes, widgets for classic themes, shortcodes — and it works with Elementor and WPBakery.

Questions

Do I need to change my theme?
No, in most cases. The search field is detected and taken over automatically, whatever your theme or page builder. If needed, you can set a CSS selector in the settings.
What data leaves my store?
Only your public catalogue — title, categories, brand, price, SKU, attributes, stock status and images. Never customer or order data. Anonymous search statistics are sent only if you turn them on.
Is the free plan a trial?
No. It is free forever for up to 300 products, with no time limit and no search quota. Nothing switches itself off.
What happens when my catalogue grows past the limit?
Indexing pauses at the limit and search keeps working normally for everything already indexed. Upgrade to index the rest.
Which languages does it support?
It focuses on Greek and greeklish. English text is indexed normally, without special processing.
